The Crystal Ball

The Crystal Ball (CB) began in 1984. It was intended to collect the wisdom of many Organizational Ombudsmen, to help each of us to pick up “new things” on the job, and then to share with each other the issues of the future. The Crystal Ball has reported on issues that will be facing Organizational Ombudsmen, on new characteristics in the work force, and on problems or aspects of problems—especially “disruptive” problems—new to our employers.
