As part of a new
organization, IOA members have much to be thankful for and to celebrate.
By working together, the 2006 IOA Annual Conference in La Jolla,
California will be an experience that we'll all remember with
professional pride.
Friday March 17, 2006 is the
cut off for early bird conference registration.We
have extended the early bird rate from March 3rd to March 17th.
You must fax in your registration
form to the office by Friday, March 17th in order to receive the early
bird fees
fax to 1-908-842-0376. Please note you do not have to send in your
payment by March 17th to receive the early bird fees but we must confirm
your faxed registration. If you plan on paying by check please fax
a copy of your registration form to the office then mail a copy with
your check.
We will be sending
out email confirmations weekly for those registration forms we receive.
If you do not receive an email confirmation a week after you fax then
contact the office at
info@ombudsmansassociation.org or call 1-908-359-0246. You will
also receive a confirmation packet in the mail 10-14 days after you
register.

are offered. There is a separate registration/cost for all
pre-conference courses. Note: some courses may have an attendee
limit.

The
General Conference begins
with a full-day of plenary and concurrent sessions.

Sessions
are planned early on Monday for each ombudsmans sector to meet (Academic,
Corporate, Government, Non-Profit, International, and others) so you
have time to network with colleagues in your specific sector and
discuss common/uncommon issues and what specific information you would
like to leave the conference with.

The
Annual IOA Business Meeting will be at lunch.
An
alternative dining area will be available for non-members.

The
Annual Off Site Event
is Monday
evening at the spectacular Birch Aquarium.
A separate
registration for this event is required.
Tuesday, April

University of California, San Diego

A full day
of plenary and concurrent sessions is planned.

Buses will
pick up attendees at the Marriott and transport to/from the
University.

Networking Lunch is planned.
