Visiting Richmond

While you’re at the 2018 IOA Annual Conference, we hope you avail yourself Richmond has to offer. April brings perfect weather and a calendar packed full of things to do in one of the coolest cities in the country.

Richmond is a place for foodies -- in fact, Zagat named Richmond one of the “30 Most Exciting Food Cities in America in 2017.”

It's a place for the outdoorsy, with the newly opened Virginia Capital Trail bike trail, the A Million Blooms exhibit at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden and class II and IV rapids running right through our downtown. Hop on a Segway and tour the Shockoe Slip and Canal Walk.

Take in the world-renowned Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and neighborhoods lined with monuments and historic homes.

And for something more fast-paced -- really, really faced-paced -- check out the roller coasters at Kings Dominion just minutes from downtown.
