About the Webinar

The outcomes of any facilitated conversation are influenced by our visitors’ readiness to engage in it. Ombuds can play an important role in preparing individuals for a constructive facilitated conversation. This session will cover the benefits of a facilitated conversation, elements of preparation, avoidance of risk, and a framework that includes strategies and techniques Ombuds can use. The co-presenters will use a skit to demonstrate the framework and techniques available when preparing visitors for a facilitated conversation.

  • Learn to avoid potential risks when preparing visitors for facilitated conversations.
  • Learn specific techniques and a framework to prepare visitors for a facilitated conversation.
