Agenda: Addressing Injustice as Government Ombuds 

The pandemic, economic hardships, and ongoing acts of racial injustice have exposed systemic problems involving the inequitable distribution of resources, power, and voice. Protests in the US and abroad decry these inequities, the continuing oppression of people of color, and ultimately of us all.  The injustice many individuals experience in our societies also may be said to exist within our organizations.  As we return to our places of work, we can expect that the people we serve will demand greater fairness in the processes and structures that impact them. What role do we play as ombuds to create organizations responsive to the people who work within and are served by them?
