2019 COFO Annual Conference


The Coalition of Federal Ombudsman (COFO) Annual Conference planning committee is excited to officially announce the 2019 COFO Annual Conference. Our group has been working hard to bring you an agenda filled with interesting sessions and workshops that align with our conference’s ongoing theme:

  • Support the profession and its community of practitioners through the sharing of knowledge, experience, and resources
  • Connect federal ombuds with a network of peers
  • Learn from our membership as well as from related partners
  • Grow your skills, your practice, and your career

Conference Details

Date: Friday, October 18th, 2019
Time: 8:00am – 5:00pm (Registration will open at 7:45am, with an optional morning networking session beginning at 8:00am. The official welcome and opening of the conference will take place at 8:45am)
Location: US Patent and Trademark Office – Madison Building, Clara Barton Auditorium; 600 Dulany St, Alexandria, VA 22314 (Near King St. Metro)
Parking: Parking at daily and hourly rates is available in the public garage next to USPTO. The garage entrance is at the intersection of Emerson Avenue and John Carlyle Street.
Agenda: A finalized agenda will be available shortly and will be both distributed to the COFO community and posted at the conference registration page.
Registration: Registration is available online until Friday, October 11th. Register today! Please be aware that the Annual Conference event and registration page, hosted on Eventzilla, appears to perform more smoothly on Internet Explorer than other web browsers.
Cost: Free!
WebEx: The conference will be available via WebEx this year. WebEx access information will be distributed closer to the date of the event. If you plan on attending via WebEx we ask that you please register and select the “Attendance via WebEx” option.
