The Association des ombudsmans en enseignement supérieur Québec (AESQ) is hosting a lunchtime webinar as part of the Ombuds Day events that will take place on October 12, 2023, at 11:30 ET,  under the theme DIVERSIFIED ROLE, UNITED IN SERVICE.

This webinar will be a conversation between 4 passionate Ombuds coming from different sectors to promote the function, share best practices and discuss of upcoming trends and tendencies in the ombudsman world. In 2022, we had over 200 registered present participants working in Ombudsman’s offices across Canada and from 20 other different countries, coming from the following ombudsman sectors: government, higher education, banking, commercial and more.

AESQ is a small non-lucrative organization that has existed for the last 20 years in Quebec, it has 13 Ombudsman members working in the sector of higher education. Our vision is to provide support and professional development to its members, helping training activities in French and a virtual forum. We form a community, create a place of exchange and networking between members to promote integration and development of good professional practices with sister organizations such as ACCUO, ABA, and more. Therefore, events like this one relies on the support of our volunteers and sponsors.
